Milian Lauritz Andreasen’s presentations at camp meetings in Ohio in circa 1940s or 1950s. These recordings were obtained from greatcontroversy.org/resources/ml-andreasen-audio-recordings. They were made available by Pr. Larry Kirkpatrick. He states: “This may be a recording of Andreasen’s presentation at a camp meeting in Ohio in 1948.”
M. L. Andreasen spent three months with Ellen White at her home in 1909.
The following is a summary of info from the Biblical Research Institute:
Details of the Visit
During this period, Andreasen stayed at Elmshaven, California, where he conducted a personal investigation into the authenticity of White’s writings.
- Motivation: He was skeptical that a woman with limited formal education could produce the profound theological insights found in books like The Desire of Ages.
- Access: He requested and received permission from White to access her private vault to examine her original manuscripts and letters.
- Findings: After three months of “almost night and day” study, he discovered that her most complex theological statements (such as “In Christ is life, original, unborrowed, underived”) were written in her own handwriting.
- Outcome: The visit convinced him that her work was divinely inspired and accurately represented her own views.
The following video has another very similar message from Andreasen. (However its audio quality is lower than that in the video above.) According to Vance Ferrell: “A number of years ago, an old tape was found in England. The message consisted of a sermon given by Elder M.L. Andreasen (1876-1962) at an Ohio camp meeting in 1955.” The audio used in this video was obtained from sdadefend.com/Believe-Prophet/MLA-s.mp3. A copy is also available at: greatcontroversy.org/resources/ml-andreasen-audio-recordings, where it is split into three (3) audio segments.
